Dialogues (Silent Hill)
Opening Sequence
- Harry Mason: Cheryl, where could you be? It's strange... it's quiet, too quiet. This place is like a ghost town... Cheryl. Footsteps?
- Harry Mason: Cheryl? Is that Cheryl? Where are you going?Hey wait... Stop!
- Harry Mason: What is this?! What's going on here?!
Harry Wakes in Cafe
- Harry Mason: Was I dreaming?
- Cybil Bennet: How do you feel?
- Harry Mason: Like I've been run over by a truck. But I'm all right I guess.
- Cybil Bennet: Glad to hear it. You from around here? Why don't you tell me what happened
- Harry Mason: Wait a second; I'm just a tourist. I came here on vacation. I just got here. I don't know what happened. I'd like to find out for myself. Have you seen a little girl? Just turned seven last month-Short black hair. My daughter.
- Cybil Bennet: Sorry. The only person I've seen in this town is you.
- Harry Mason: Where is everybody?
- Cybil Bennet: I'd tell you if I knew, believe me. But from what I can tell, something bizarre is going on. That's all I know.
- Harry Mason: Hmmm.
- Cybil Bennet: What's your name?
- Harry Mason: Harry. Harry Mason
- Cybil Bennet: Cybil Bennett. I'm a police officer from Brahms, the next town over. The Phone's out and the radio too. I'm going back to call in some reinforcements.
- Harry Mason: Hmpf!
- Cybil Bennet: Hold it!
- Cybil Bennet: Where do you think your going?
- Harry Mason: My daughter, I've got to find her!
- Cybil Bennet: No way, It's dangerous out there.
- Harry Mason: In that case I need to find her now; Cheryl's my little girl. I can't just leave her out there by herself.
- Cybil Bennet: Have you got a gun?
- Harry Mason: Err, no.
- Cybil Bennet: Take this, and hope you don't have to use it. Now listen to me. Before you pull the trigger, know who your shooting. And don't do it unless you have to. And don't go blasting me by mistake. Got It?
- Harry Mason: Yeah, Thanks
- Cybil Bennet: You'll do best to stay nearby. I'll be back as quick as I can.
Strange Radio
- Harry Mason: What’s that? Huh, radio. What’s going on with that radio?
- Harry Mason: This is not a dream! What’s happening to this place?
Isn’t this Cheryl’s sketchbook?
- Harry Mason: Isn’t this Cheryl’s sketchbook? (reads note scribbled on the cover) Hmm.. she’s at the school…
Where am I?
- Harry Mason: Where am I? Have I been here before…? (walks forward, comes to a stop at the Seal of Metatron drawn on the ground) Hmm.. I don’t remember this being here before.
School Phone Call
- Cheryl Mason: Daddy? Help me! Daddy, where are you?
- Harry Mason: Cheryl!
Midwich Generator Room
- Harry Mason: What was that?! Who in the hell was that?
Balkin Church
- Harry Mason: Were you ringing that bell?
- Dahlia Gillespie: I've been expecting you. It was foretold by Gyromancy.
- Harry Mason: What are you talking about?
- Dahlia Gillespie: I knew you'd come. You want the girl, right?
- Harry Mason: The Girl? You're talking about Cheryl!!?
- Dahlia Gillespie: I see everything.
- Harry Mason: You know something? Tell me!
- Dahlia Gillespie: Stay Back! Nothing is to be gained from floundering about at random. You must follow the path. The path of the hermit concealed by Flauros!
- Harry Mason: What? What are you talking about?
- Dahlia Gillespie: Here! The Flauros. A cage of peace. It can break through the walls of darkness and counteract the wrath of the Underworld. These will help you. Make haste to the Hospital before it is too late
- Harry Mason: Wait! Don't go yet!
Alchemilla Hospital, Kaufmann
- Harry Mason: Hold it! Stop don't shoot!
- Harry Mason: Wait, I'm not here to fight, my name is Harry Mason, I'm in town on vacation.
- Michael Kaufmann: Thank god. Another human being
- Harry Mason: Do you work here?
- Michael Kaufmann: I'm Dr. Michael Kaufmann. I work at this hospital.
- Harry Mason: So maybe you can tell me what's going on.
- Michael Kaufmann: I really can't say. I was taking a nap in the staff room. When I woke up it was like this. Everyone seems to have disappeared. And it's snowing out. This time of year. Something's gone seriously wrong. Did you see those monsters? Have you ever seen such aberrations? Ever even heard of such things? You and I both know creatures like that don't exist.
- Harry Mason: Yeah. Have you seen a little girl anywhere? I'm looking for my daughter. She's only seven, short black hair.
- Michael Kaufmann: She's missing? I'm sorry. But with all those monsters around, I highly doubt she's.
- Michael Kaufmann: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to alarm you. Your wife, she's here with you?
- Harry Mason: She died, 4 year ago. Now it's just me and my daughter
- Michael Kaufmann: I see. I'm sorry.
- Michael Kaufmann: Well, I better be going. Ican't just sit around doing nothing.
- Harry Mason: So long, good luck out there.
Meeting Lisa
- Lisa Garland: Finally, someone else who's ok.
- Harry Mason: Who are you?
- Lisa Garland: My names Lisa Garland, what's yours?
- Harry Mason: Harry Mason.
- Lisa Garland: Harry, tell mewhat's happening here, where is everybody? I must have gotten knocked out. When I came to, everyone was gone. It's awful.
- Harry Mason: So you don't know anything either. Great. I just don't get it. It's like this is all some kind of bad dream.
- Lisa Garland: Yeah, a living nightmare...
- Harry Mason: Let me ask you. Have you seen a little girl around here? Short black hair, seven years old?
- Lisa Garland: A seven-year-old girl? What, she's your daughter?
- Harry Mason: Yes.
- Lisa Garland: A seven-year-old girl. I can't say that I have. I was unconscious all this time. I'm sorry.
- Harry Mason: That's all right. Do you know anything about all that weird stuff in the basement?
- Lisa Garland: No. Why is there something down there?
- Harry Mason: You don't know? Don't you work here?
- Lisa Garland: We're under strict orders never to enter the basement storeroom, so i really don't know. What did you say was down there?
- Harry Mason: Well, It's... Argh!
- Lisa Garland: What's wrong? Harry...? Harry! Let me help you, Harry...
Was I dreaming?
- Harry Mason: Was I dreaming?
- Dahlia Gillespie: You were too late
- Harry Mason: It's you!
- Dahlia Gillespie: Yes. Dahlia Gillespie.
- Harry Mason: Tell me everything you know. What's going on?
- Dahlia Gillespie: Darkness. The town is being devoured by darkness.Strength must overcome petty desire, childish sleep talk! I knew this day would come.
- Harry Mason: What are you talking about? I don't understand a word of this!
- Dahlia Gillespie: Believe the evidence of your eyes! The other church in this town that is your estination. This is beyond my abilities. Only you can stop it now. Have you not seen the crest marked on the ground all over town?
- Harry Mason: So that's what I saw in the schoolyard. What does it mean?
- Dahlia Gillespie: It is the mark of Samael. Do not let it be completed
- Harry Mason: Hey wait, Stop!
The "Other" Church
- Harry Mason: What's this.
- Cybil Bennet: Harry!
- Harry Mason: Cybil!
- Cybil Bennet: I'm glad your OK. I shouldn't have left you. Things are worse than I thought. Its nuts.
- Harry Mason: What are you doing here, I thought you left town!
- Cybil Bennet: I saw you go in here, so I followed you. I couldn't get out. All the roads out of town are blocked. Cars have completely stopped running. And the phones and radios are still out too.
- Harry Mason: What about my daughter, did you see her!
- Cybil Bennet: I did see a girl.
- Harry Mason: Was it Cheryl!?
- Cybil Bennet: I only caught a glimpse of her through the fog. I went after her,but she vanished. I don't know about you daughter, but....
- Harry Mason: And you just let her go!!! Where was it!
- Cybil Bennet: On Bachman road, she was heading towards the lake. Now don't get excited. It wasn't like she ran off exactly. There was no place for her to go. The road has been obliterated.
- Harry Mason: What, so then Cheryl...
- Cybil Bennet: It was like she was walking on thin air..........What about you?
- Harry Mason: Yeah, I met this bizarre woman. Her name is Dahlia Gillespie. Do you know her?
- Cybil Bennet: Dahlia Gillespie? No. And?
- Harry Mason: She said something about the town being devoured by darkness. Gibberish like that. Any idea what it means?
- Cybil Bennet: Darkness devouring the town? Must be on drugs. They sell em to the tourists. The force still can't figure out whose behind it. No leads have panned out,and the investigation is stalled.
- Harry Mason: What could drug trafficking have to do with all this?
- Cybil Bennet: Hmmm. I really don't know. But maybe that's the darkness she was talking about. That's all I can think of.
- Harry Mason: Hmmm.
- Cybil Bennet: What's this?
- Harry Mason: Just discovered it. Maybe there's something back there.
- Cybil Bennet: Lets have a look.
- Harry Mason: Wait! We don't know what's back there. I better check it out first.
- Cybil Bennet: I'm a cop, I should go.
- Harry Mason: No! I'm going!
- Cybil Bennet: All right. I'll cover you from here. But if anything looks fishy, get back here on the double.
- Harry Mason: Oh... Cybil?
- Cybil Bennet: Yes?
- Harry Mason: Do you know anything about, well, some other world? It's like a bad dream.
- Cybil Bennet: What are you talking about?
- Harry Mason: I'm not quite sure. I try to make sense o it, but my mind goes blank. Everything's dark there, and I hear sirens in the distance. I met this nurse, Lisa. It's like I was there, but not really, its all a blur, like some kind of hallucination, you know?
- Cybil Bennet: I have no idea what your talking about Harry.
- Harry Mason: Oh, I was just wondering, never mind.
- Cybil Bennet: Harry, Your tired.
- Harry Mason: Yeah Maybe.
- Harry Mason: What's this? Some kind of altar? I've never seen anything like this before. Maybe this is the other church.
- Harry Mason: Huh! What the...
- Cybil Bennet: Harry? Are you OK? Harry... Harry.
Lisa, Waiting for Harry
- Lisa Garland: Harry!
- Harry Mason: Glad your ok.
- Lisa Garland: Thank god you came back. I was scared to be here all alone.
- Harry Mason: I'm here now. I was worried too. I'm real happy to see you. Lisa, Can you tell me how to get to the lake?
- Lisa Garland: The Lake? You take Bachman road.
- Harry Mason: The roads blocked.
- Lisa Garland: Well that's the only way out there.
- Harry Mason: Are you sure? There's got to be another way.
- Lisa Garland: Wait! I just remembered something!
- Harry Mason: What?
- Lisa Garland: There's a Waterworks over by my old elementary school. It's been abandoned for years. There's an underground tunnel used for inspections or something. I remember hearing it runs all the way to the lake.
- Harry Mason: Really? Do you think I can get to the lake from there?
- Lisa Garland: I've never been down there myself, so I'm not positive. Besides, it's all fenced off to keep people out.
- Harry Mason: If there's a chance, I've got to try.
- Lisa Garland: Harry! Don't go! I don't want to be alone. It's so scary I can't stand it.
- Harry Mason: How about coming with me? This may not be the safest place in the world either.I can't promise anything, but I'll do my best to protect you.
- Lisa Garland: No. Somehow I feel like I'm not supposed to leave this place. Oh Harry, I'm so scared! I'm Cold!
- Harry Mason: Look, just wait here a little longer. I'll be back as soon as I find my daughter.
Kaufmann's Secret Stash
- Michael Kaufmann: Give me that!
- Harry Mason: What is this?
- Michael Kaufmann: That's none of your business. Instead of messing with thatm how about coming up with a way to get out of here. You shouldn't be hanging around here goofing off. What do you think your doing? You want to get yourself killed, get out of here!
- Harry Mason: Okay, Take it easy!
- Michael Kaufmann: Unless you want to die, keep your mind on business, Got it?
Harry, Cybil, Dahlia in Boat
- Cybil Bennet: Harry!
- Harry Mason: Cybil? How did you get here?!
- Cybil Bennet: I followed the sewer. Were you the one who cut the fence?
- Harry Mason: Yeah. I'm glad you made it. I was worried about you.
- Cybil Bennet: You were worried? Where did you disappear to! Never mind. I want to know what's going on. What's with this town?
- Harry Mason: This may sound really off the wall, but listen to me. You've got to believe me. I've not gone crazy, and I'm not fooling around. At first I thought I was losing my mind. But now I know I'm not. It's not me. This whole town. It's being invaded by the other world. World of someone's nightmarish delusions come to life. Little by little the invasion is spreading. Trying to swallow up everything in darkness. I think I'm finally beginning to understand what that lady was talking about.
- Cybil Bennet: Harry. Hold on a minute. I don't get it.
- Harry Mason: Look, I don't understand it all myself. I guess I can't explain it.
- Cybil Bennet: Harry, this whole thing has been a major blow to you. You need to rest.
- Harry Mason: Cybil, I...
- Dahlia Gillespie: The demon is awakening, spreading those wings!
- Harry Mason: Dahlia Gillespie...
- Dahlia Gillespie: Was it not as I said? I see it all now-Yes everything. And with the sacrifice, the demon will swallow up the land. I knew this day would come. And the task is almost finished. There are only two left. To seal this town to the abyss, the mark of Samael. When it's completed, all is lost. Even in daytime, darkness will cover the sun. The dead will walk and martyrs will burn in the fires of hell. Everyone will die!
- Harry Mason: So what am I supposed to do; I've got to find Cheryl!
- Dahlia Gillespie: Stop the demon! The demon that is taking that child's form! You must stop it before your daughter becomes a sacrifice. Before it is too late! Stop it! STOP IT!
- Harry Mason: What do I do?
- Dahlia Gillespie: Go to the lighthouse on the lake. And to the center of the amusement park. You are the only hope.
- Cybil Bennet: Look Harry, I really don't know what's going on, but if there's a chance we can save your daughter, I'm in. I'll check out the amusement park. You go to the lighthouse.
- Harry Mason: Cybil... Thanks
- Dahlia Gillespie: You will need to use it.
- Harry Mason: Use what?
- Dahlia Gillespie: The Flauros! Only with that can you stop it.
- Harry Mason: What about Cybil?
Cybil Saved
- Harry Mason: Cybil, wake up! Snap out of it. Cybil!
- Cybil Bennet: Harry, what happened?
- Harry Mason: Don't talk; I'll take care of you.
- Cybil Bennet: Harry? Why did they take your daughter? Why her?
- Harry Mason: I don't know myself, but you know, Cheryl isn't my biological daughter. I actually haven't told her yet. She probably knows anyway though. We found her abandoned by the side of the highway. Nobody knew where she came from, and we didn't have any kids of our own. And my wife was sick and it didn't look like she was getting any better. So we took Cheryl in.
- Cybil Bennet: So in that case...
- Harry Mason: There might be some connection between Cheryl and this town.
- Cybil Bennet: So what do you do now?
- Harry Mason: Cheryl is my daughter. I'll save her no matter what.
Amusement Park, Nowhere
- Harry Mason: I figured you'd show. Hold it right there! I don't know who you are or what you're trying to do. Just one thing. Let Cheryl go, that's all I ask.
- Alessa Gillespie: AHH!
- Harry Mason: Where's Cheryl, Give me back my daughter!
- Dahlia Gillespie: We meet at last, Alessa!
- Harry Mason: Dahlia Gillespie. Where's Cheryl, where is she!
- Dahlia Gillespie: Alessa, this is the end of your little game.
- Alessa Gillespie: Mama!
- Harry Mason: Could she mean?
- Dahlia Gillespie: You've been a ghastly little pest, haven't you Alessa? I was careless thinking you couldn't escape from our spell. But mommy didn't realize how much you'd grown. That's why I couldn't catch you by myself. And what a pity, Yes? Now your half Indebted to this MAN for his help.
- Harry Mason: Hey, what are you talking about!
- Dahlia Gillespie: Alessa, my dear little girl... I have one thing left I need for you to do for me.
- Alessa Gillespie: No, get away from me.
- Dahlia Gillespie: Bad girl!
Lisa's Mutation
- Lisa Garland: Harry.
- Harry Mason: Lisa, what happened? Where's Alessa and Dahlia?
- Lisa Garland: Harry, listen, something you said before has been bothering me. I just can't get it out of my head.
- Harry Mason: What is it Lisa?
- Lisa Garland: So I went to look in the basement. Even though I was as scared as hell. Like you said there were these creepy rooms, but nothing really unusual down there. But while I was down there, I got this weird feeling. Like I've been there before. Like something happened there but I can't quite remember it. What was it? Harry! Help me... I'm so scared, I can't take this.
- Harry Mason: It's only a temporary thing. You're in shock from when you were knocked out. Don't fret about it, you'll remember in a while.
- Lisa Garland: No! You don't understand!
- Harry Mason: Wait! Where do you think your going!
- Lisa Garland: Harry...
- Harry Mason: Lisa? What's the matter with you!
- Lisa Garland: I get it now. Why I'm still alive even though everyone else is dead. I'm not the only one who's still walking around. I'm the same as them! I just hadn't noticed it before.
- Harry Mason: Lisa.
- Lisa Garland: Stay by me Harry please! I'm so scared! Help me! Save me from them Harry. Please... Harry...
- Harry Mason: Lisa...
Meeting Around Alessa's Bed
- Dahlia Gillespie: Everything is going according to plan, sheltered in the womb.
- Doctor: But it's not done yet. Half the soul is lost. That is why the seed lies dormant.
- Doctor 2: And what soul remains captured in that husk. Is buried deep down in the subconscious
- Michael Kaufmann: Are you trying to say it wont work? That wasn't our agreement!
- Dahlia Gillespie: No, No these are just stalling tactics. If we lend a hand we will be able to get power. Never fear the promise shall not be broken.
- Doctor: But the power we can draw now will be very weak. Almost nothing. Unless we get the other half of the soul.
- Dahlia Gillespie: We'll use a magical spell. Sealing the child's pain is sure to come.
- K.Gordon: But that will take time.
Dahlia and Alessa Struggle
- Dahlia Gillespie: Come, Come along!
- Alessa Gillespie: No. No I don't want to.
- Dahlia Gillespie: Do what mommy tells you now. I just want you to lend me a teeny bit of your power, that's all.
- Alessa Gillespie: No! I don't want to do it.
- Dahlia Gillespie: It would make everyone happy, and it's for your own good.
- Alessa Gillespie: No, but mommy I just want to be with you. Just the two of us, please understand.
- Dahlia Gillespie: I see. Maybe mommy has been wrong.
- Alessa Gillespie: Mommy?
- Dahlia Gillespie: Why didn't I see this before? There's no reason to wait. Herein lies the mother's womb, containing the power to create life. I could have done it all myself!
- Alessa Gillespie: Mommy?
Good Ending
- Dahlia Gillespie: I was shocked to learn that the Talisman of Metratron was being used/ In spite of the lost soul returning at last, If we waited any longer, all would have been for naught. It's all because of that man. We must be thankful to him. Even though Alessa has been stopped, his little girl has to go, what a pity Ahahahahaha!
- Cybil Bennet: Freeze!
- Cybil Bennet: What in the devils name!
- Harry Mason: Dahlia!
- Dahlia Gillespie: Well, Well, Well to think you'd make it this far.
- Harry Mason: Where's Cheryl, what have you done to her?
- Dahlia Gillespie: What are you talking about? You've seen her many times, restored to her former self.
- Harry Mason: I'm in no mood for jokes.
- Dahlia Gillespie: Don't you see! She's right there!
- Harry Mason: That's absurd!
- Dahlia Gillespie: You are the only one who thinks so.
- Harry Mason: Why? Why are you doing this?
- Dahlia Gillespie: It's been a long seven years. For the seven years since that terrible day. Alessa has been kept alive suffering a fate worse than death. Alessa has been trapped in an endless nightmare from which she never awakens. She has been nurtured by that nightmare. Waiting for the day to be born. That day has finally come. The time is neigh. Everyone will be relieved from pain and suffering. Our salvation is at hand. This is the day of reckoning. When all our sorrows will be washed away. When we return to the true paradise! My daughter will be the mother of God!
- Michael Kaufmann: Quit screwing around! Return things to how they were before!
- Harry Mason: Kaufmann!?
- Michael Kaufmann: Did I ask for this?! Nobody uses me! You won’t get away with this!
- Dahlia Gillespie: Your role is over. We don’t need you anymore. What do you think you can accomplish by coming here?
- Michael Kaufmann: My, aren’t we getting cocky? Bet you can’t see this and keep your cool.
- Dahlia Gillespie: Aglaophotis?! I thought I got rid of that!
- Michael Kaufmann: All I had to do was plant is somewhere for you to find. And you? Well ? it kept you busy. Hah! You’re easy! And there’s more where this came from.
- Dahlia Gillespie: Stop it!
- Harry Mason: Huh? What the?
- Michael Kaufmann: What on earth…? That’s not supposed to…
- Cheryl Mason: Daddy!
Dialogues (Silent Hill 2)
I Got a Letter
- *follows Mary's letter, read by a female voice*
- James Sunderland: I got a letter. The name on the envelope said 'Mary.' My wife's name...
- James Sunderland: It's ridiculous, couldn't possibly be true... That's what I keep telling myself... A dead person can't write a letter. Mary died of that damn disease three years ago. So then why am I looking for her? Our 'special place'... What could she mean? This whole town was our special place.
- James Sunderland: Does she mean the park on the lake? We spent the whole day there. Just the two of us, staring at the water. Could Mary really be there? Is she really alive... waiting for me?
Meeting Angela
- James Sunderland: Excuse me, I...
- Angela Orosco: I, I'm sorry...I, I... I was just....
- James Sunderland: No, it's okay. I didn't mean to scare you. I'm kind of lost.
- Angela Orosco: Lost?
- James Sunderland: Yeah, I'm looking for Silent Hill. Is this the right way?
- Angela Orosco: Um yeah.... It's hard to see with this fog, but there's only the one road. You can't miss it.
- James Sunderland: Thanks.
- Angela Orosco: But...
- James Sunderland: Yes...?
- Angela Orosco: I think you'd better stay away. This uh... this town... there's something... wrong with it. It's kind of hard to explain, but...
- James Sunderland: Is it dangerous?
- Angela Orosco: Maybe... And it's not just the fog either...It's...
- James Sunderland: Okay I got it. I'll be careful.
- Angela Orosco: I'm not lying.
- James Sunderland: No, I believe you. It's just...I guess I really don't care if it's dangerous or not. I'm going to town either way.
- Angela Orosco: But why?
- James Sunderland: I'm looking for... someone.
- Angela Orosco: Who, who, who is it?
- James Sunderland: Someone... very important to me. I'd do anything if I could be with her again.
- Angela Orosco: Me too. I'm looking for my mama... I mean my mother. It's been so long since I've seen her. I thought my father and brother were here, but I can't find them either... I'm sorry... It's not your problem.
- James Sunderland: No, I... I hope you find them.
- Angela Orosco: Yeah, you too.
Meeting Eddie
- Eddie Dombrowski: It wasn't me! I didn't do it!
- James Sunderland: Do what?
- Eddie Dombrowski: I didn't do anything. I, I swear! He was like this when I got here...
- James Sunderland: My uh, my name's James. James Sunderland.
- Eddie Dombrowski: Uhmmm... Eddie.
- James Sunderland: Eddie, who's that dead guy in the kitchen?
- Eddie Dombrowski: I didn't do it. I swear I didn't kill anybody.
- James Sunderland: You're not friends with that red, pyramid thing, are you?
- Eddie Dombrowski: Red pyramid thing? I don't know what yer talkin' about. Honest. But I did see some weird-looking monsters. They scared the hell outta me, so I ran in here...
- James Sunderland: Well, I guess this place isn't too safe either. What happened here anyway?
- Eddie Dombrowski: Uh I, I told ya I don't know. I'm not even from this town. I just, I just...
- James Sunderland: You too, huh. Something just brought you here, right?
- Eddie Dombrowski: Uhmm... yeah. You could say that...
- James Sunderland: Well whatever it is... I think you better get out of here soon.
- Eddie Dombrowski: Yeah yer right. What about you?
- James Sunderland: I'll leave as soon as I'm done here. Eddie... be careful.
- Eddie Dombrowski: James, I... I... um... You be careful too.
Angela in the Apartment
- Angela Orosco: Oh... it's you.
- James Sunderland: Yeah... I'm James.
- Angela Orosco: Angela...
- James Sunderland: Angela... okay. I don't know what you're planning... But there's always another way.
- Angela Orosco: Really? But...You're the same as me. It's easier just to run. Besides, it's what we deserve.
- James Sunderland: No... I'm not like you.
- Angela Orosco: Are you afraid? ...I, I'm sorry.
- James Sunderland: It's okay... Did you find your mother?
- Angela Orosco: Not yet... She's not anywhere.
- James Sunderland: Did she live in this apartment building?
- Angela Orosco: I don't know...
- James Sunderland: So all you know is she lived in this town?
- Angela Orosco: What did you say? How do you know that?
- James Sunderland: Well... I just figured, cause this is where you're looking for her. How else would I know?
- Angela Orosco: Yeah...
- James Sunderland: Am I right?
- Angela Orosco: I'm so tired...
- James Sunderland: So why did you come to this town anyway?
- Angela Orosco: ...I, I'm sorry. Did you find... the person you're looking for?
- James Sunderland: Not yet.
- James Sunderland: Her name's Mary. She's my wife...
- Angela Orosco: I'm sorry.
- James Sunderland: It's okay. Anyway, she's dead. I don't know why I think she's here.
- Angela Orosco: ...She's dead?
- James Sunderland: Don't worry, I'm not crazy. Least, I don't think so...
- Angela Orosco: I've gotta find my mama...
- James Sunderland: Should I go with you? This town's dangerous. Now I know what you meant back there in the cemetery.
- Angela Orosco: I'll be okay by myself. Besides, I'd just slow you down.
- James Sunderland: What about that?
- Angela Orosco: Will you hold it for me?
- James Sunderland: Sure. No problem.
- Angela Orosco: If I kept it.... I'm not sure what I might do.
- Angela Orosco: No!! I'm sorry...I've been bad... Please don't...
Laura on the Wall
- James Sunderland: It was you, wasn't it? You're the one who stepped on my hand.
- Laura: I don't know... Maybe I did...
- James Sunderland: What's a little girl like you doing here anyway?
- Laura: Huh? Are you blind or something?
- James Sunderland: What's that letter?
- Laura: None of your business. You didn't love Mary anyway!
- James Sunderland: Wait! How do you know Mary's name!
Maria at Rosewater Park
- James Sunderland: Mary?
- James Sunderland: No... you're not.
- Maria: Do I look like your girlfriend?
- James Sunderland: No.... my late wife. I can't believe it... You could be her twin. Your face, your voice... Just your hair and clothes are different.
- Maria: My name... is Maria. I don't look like a ghost. Do I? See? Feel how warm I am.
- James Sunderland: You're really not Mary!
- Maria: I told you... I'm Maria.
- James Sunderland: Sorry, I was confused.
- Maria: Where are you going?
- James Sunderland: I'm looking for Mary. Have you seen her?
- Maria: Didn't you say she died?
- James Sunderland: Oh yeah... three years ago. But I got a letter from her. She said she was waiting in our 'special place'.
- Maria: And that's here? Anyway, I haven't seen her. Is this your only 'special place'?
- James Sunderland: Well, there's the hotel, too, I guess. The one on the lake... I wonder if it's still there.
- Maria: The Lakeview Hotel? Yeah, it's still there. So, the hotel was your 'special place', huh? I'll bet it was.
- Maria: Don't get so mad. I was just joking. Anyway, it's not that way. It's this way.
- James Sunderland: You're coming with me?
- Maria: You were gonna just leave me here?
- James Sunderland: No but...
- Maria: With all these monsters around?
- James Sunderland: No, I just...
- Maria: I'm all alone here. Everyone else is gone... I look like Mary, don't I? You loved her, right? Or maybe you hated her...
- James Sunderland: Don't be ridiculous.
- Maria: So it's okay?
- James Sunderland: Yeah, fine.
Laura and Eddie in the Bowling Alley
- Laura: So what'd you do? Robbery, murder?
- Eddie Dombrowski: Nah, nothing like that.
- Laura: Hah! You're just a gutless fatso!
- Eddie Dombrowski: Whadda you have to say that for?
- Laura: I thought you said the cops were after you.
- Eddie Dombrowski: No, I just ran 'cause I was scared. I don't know what the cops are doing.
- Laura: But if you did something bad, why don't you just say you were sorry? Well... I guess I run away a lots too.
- Eddie Dombrowski: It's no good. They wouldn't listen. Nobody will ever forgive me.
James and Eddie in the Bowling Alley
- James Sunderland: Eddie?
- Eddie Dombrowski: Oh... umm, yer...
- James Sunderland: James. We met in the apartment building.
- Eddie Dombrowski: Yeah, I remember, but...
- James Sunderland: Are you alone here, Eddie?
- Eddie Dombrowski: Uh, no...
- Laura: Bye-bye!
- James Sunderland: Wait! Come back! Eddie! Let's go after her!
- Eddie Dombrowski: Huh? Laura? But why...?
- James Sunderland: Laura? Is that her name?
- Eddie Dombrowski: That's what she said.
- James Sunderland: This town is full of monsters! How can you sit there and eat pizza!?
- Eddie Dombrowski: She said she was fine by herself... She said a fatso like me would just slow her down.
- James Sunderland: Forget you...
Laura in the Hospital
- James Sunderland: Laura?
- Laura: Huh? You know my name?
- James Sunderland: Eddie told me.
- Laura: That big, fat blabbermouth.
- James Sunderland: How do you know about Mary?
- Laura: What's the big deal?
- James Sunderland: Why can't you just tell me?
- Laura: You gonna yell at me if I don't?
- James Sunderland: No... I won't.
- Laura: I was friends with Mary... We met at the hospital. It was last year...
- James Sunderland: You liar!!... Laura, I...
- Laura: Fine! Don't believe me!
- James Sunderland: But last year, Mary was already... I'm sorry Laura. Anyway, let's go.
- James Sunderland: We can talk about this later. This is no place for a kid. There are all sorts of strange things around here... I can't believe you haven't even gotten a scratch on you.
- Laura: Why should I?
- Laura: Wait! Wait! There's something I gotta get!
- James Sunderland: Later, okay?
- Laura: But it's really important!
- James Sunderland: What is it?
- Laura: A letter from Mary.
- James Sunderland: Huh?
- Laura: I wanna go get it? Is that okay?
- James Sunderland: Yes, yes.
- Laura: C'mon hurry up!
- James Sunderland: Is it in there?
- Laura: Yeah. In the back.
- James Sunderland: What're you doing, Laura?
- Laura: It's further back. In the desk.
- James Sunderland: Laura, what are you doing!?
- Laura: Ha-ha! I tricked you!
- James Sunderland: Open the door, Laura.
- Laura: Why should I? I'm a liar, right? Want me to open it? Huh? huh? Do ya?
- Laura: What's the magic word?
- James Sunderland: Laura!
- Laura: Okay. I guess I won't open it... I think I'll just leave you like this...
- James Sunderland: You snotty little brat! Open up!
- Laura: Why you, you...
- James Sunderland: Laura?
- Laura: You fartface!
Maria in the Hospital Basement
- Maria: James!
- James Sunderland: Mary! Oh Maria it's you... I thought you were.... Sorry... Anyway, I'm glad you're alive...
- Maria: "Anyway"!? What do you mean "Anyway"!? You don't sound very happy to see me. I was almost killed back there! Why didn't you try to save me? All you care about is that dead wife of yours! I've never been so scared in my whole life! You couldn't care less about me, could you?
- James Sunderland: No, I just...
- Maria: Then stay with me! Don't ever leave me alone! You're supposed to take care of me!
- Maria: So what about Laura? Did you find her?
- James Sunderland: Yeah, but she ran away.
- Maria: We've got to find her!
- James Sunderland: You really seem to care about her. Do you know her?
- Maria: I never met her before. I just feel sorry for her. She's all alone... and for some reason... I feel like it's up to me to protect her...
Eddie in the Prison
- Eddie Dombrowski: Killin' a person ain't no big deal. Just put the gun to their head...pow!
- James Sunderland: You... you killed him?
- Eddie Dombrowski: B,but... it wasn't my fault. He, he made me do it!
- James Sunderland: Calm down, Eddie. Tell me what happened.
- Eddie Dombrowski: That guy... he, he had it coming! I didn't do anything. He just came after me! Besides he was making fun of me with his eyes! Like that other one...
- James Sunderland: Just for that you killed him?
- Eddie Dombrowski: Whadda ya mean 'Just for that'!
- James Sunderland: Eddie, you can't just kill someone cause of the way they looked at you...
- Eddie Dombrowski: Oh yeah! Why not? Til now I always let people walk all over me. Just like that stupid dog. He had it coming too!
- James Sunderland: Eddie!!
- Eddie Dombrowski: He he. I was just jokin', James. He was dead when I got here. Honest. Anyway, I gotta run.
- James Sunderland: You're going out there alone?
- Eddie Dombrowski: Yeah...
- James Sunderland: Eddie...
I'm not your Mary
- James Sunderland: You're alive! Maria...! I thought that thing killed you...! Are you hurt bad?
- Maria: Not at all, silly.
- James Sunderland: ...Maria? That thing... it stabbed you. There was blood everywhere.
- Maria: Stabbed me? What do you mean?
- James Sunderland: It chased us to the elevator. And then...
- Maria: James, what are you talking about?
- James Sunderland: Just before! Don't you remember?
- Maria: James honey... Did something happen to you? After we got separated in that long hallway? Are you confusing me with someone else? You were always so forgetful... Remember that time in the hotel...
- James Sunderland: Maria...?
- Maria: You said you took everything... But you forgot that videotape we made. I wonder if it's still there...
- James Sunderland: How do you know about that! Aren't you Maria?
- Maria: I'm not your Mary.
- James Sunderland: So you're Maria?
- Maria: I am... if you want me to be.
- James Sunderland: All I want from you is an answer!
- Maria: It doesn't matter who I am... I'm here for you, James. See? I'm real. Don't you want to touch me?
- James Sunderland: I don't know....
- Maria: Come and get me. I can't do anything through these bars.
- James Sunderland: Okay... stay right there. I'll be there soon.
Angela with Abstract Daddy
- Angela Orosco: No daddy! Please! Don't!
After Abstract Daddy
- James Sunderland: Are you okay?
- James Sunderland: Angela! Relax!
- Angela Orosco: Don't order me around!
- James Sunderland: I'm not trying to order you.
- Angela Orosco: So what do you want then? Oh I see, you're trying to be nice to me, right? I know what you're up to. It's always the same. You're only after one thing.
- James Sunderland: No, that's not true at all.
- Angela Orosco: You don't have to lie. Go ahead and say it. Or you could just force me. Beat me up like he always did. You only care about yourself anyway. You disgusting pig.
- James Sunderland: Angela...
- Angela Orosco: Don't touch me!! You make me sick!
- Angela Orosco: You said your wife Mary was dead, right?
- James Sunderland: Yes, she was ill...
- Angela Orosco: Liar! I know about you.... You didn't want her around anymore. You probably found someone else.
- James Sunderland: That's ridiculous... I never...
Eddie Boss Encounter
- James Sunderland: Eddie! What are you doing?
- Eddie Dombrowski: What does it look like? He always busted my balls."You fat disgusting piece of shit! You make me sick!" "Fat-ass, yer nothin' but a waste of skin." "You're so ugly, even you're mama don't love you!"
Well maybe he was right. Maybe I am nothing but a fat, disgusting piece of shit. But ya know what? It doesn't matter if your smart, dumb, ugly, pretty... it's all the same once yer dead. And a corpse can't laugh. From now on, if anyone makes fun of me... I'll kill em. Just like that.
- James Sunderland: Eddie, have you gone nuts?
- Eddie Dombrowski: I knew it. You too. You're just like 'em, James.
- James Sunderland: Hey I didn't mean anything.
- Eddie Dombrowski: Don't bother. I understand. You've been laughin' at me all along, haven't you? Ever since we first met. I'll kill you, James.
Eddie in the Meat Locker
- Eddie Dombrowski: Do you know what it does to you, James? When you're hated, picked on, spit on, just cause of the way you look. After you've been laughed at your whole friggin' life. That's why I ran away after I killed the dog. Ran away like a scared little girl. Yeah, I killed that dog. It was fun. It tried to chew its own guts out! Finally died all curled up in a ball. Then "He" came after me, I shot him too. Right in the leg. He cried more than the dog! He's gonna have a hard time playing football on what's left of that knee.
- James Sunderland: You think it's okay to kill people! You need help, Eddie!
- Eddie Dombrowski: Don't get all holy on me, James. This town called you, too. You and me are the same. We're not like other people. Don't you know that?!
- Eddie Dombrowski: Let's party!
Eddie's Death
- James Sunderland: Eddie?
- James Sunderland: Eddie! I... I killed a... a human being... Mary... Did you really die three years ago...?
Laura's Letter
- Laura: Did I scare you?
- James Sunderland: Yeah, you did.
- Laura: You're here to find Mary, aren't you, James? Well... have you?
- James Sunderland: No... is that why you're here, too?
- Laura: She's here, isn't she? If you know where she is, tell me! I'm tired of walking.
- James Sunderland: I wish I knew...
- Laura: But she said it in her letter...
- James Sunderland: What letter!?
- Laura: ...Wanna read it? But don't tell Rachel, okay?
- James Sunderland: Who's Rachel?
- Laura: She was our nurse. I took it from her locker.
- *James reads the letter*
- James Sunderland: Laura... How old are you?
- Laura: Uhm, I turned eight last week.
- James Sunderland: So Mary couldn't have died... three years ago... Could she really be here? Is this the "quiet, beautiful place" she was talking about?
- Laura: Me and Mary talked a lot about Silent Hill. She even showed me all her pictures. She really wanted to come back. That's why I'm here. Maybe you'll get it if you see the other letter... the one Mary... huh?
- Laura: I must have dropped it!
- James Sunderland: Laura...
- Laura: I gotta find it!
- James Sunderland: Laura!
That Video Tape We Made
- Mary Sunderland: Are you taping again? C'mon...
- Mary Sunderland: I don't know why, but I just love it here. It's so peaceful. You know what I heard? This whole area used to be a sacred place. I think I can see why. It's too bad we have to leave... Please promise you'll take me again, James.
- Laura: So there you are, James. Did you get the letter? Did you find Mary? If not, let's get going already... Okay?
- James Sunderland: Mary's gone. She's dead.
- Laura: Liar! That's a lie!
- James Sunderland: No, that's not true...
- Laura: She... she died 'cause she was sick?
- James Sunderland: No. I killed her.
- Laura: You killer! Why'd you do it?! I hate you!! I want her back! Give her back to me! I knew it! You didn't care about her! I hate you, James! I hate you! I hate you! I hate you! She was always waiting for you... why... why...
- James Sunderland: I'm sorry...
- James Sunderland: The Mary you know isn't here.
- James Sunderland: Laura, I'm sorry.
- Mary Sunderland: James. Where are you? I'm waiting. I'm waiting for you. Please come to me.
- Mary Sunderland: Do you hate me? Is that why you won't come?
- James Sunderland: That voice...
- Mary Sunderland: Please hurry. Are you lost? I'm near. I'm waiting nearby, James. Please. I want to see you, James. Can't you hear me? James... Please, James... James... James... James...
Angela, Flaming Staircase
- Angela Orosco: Mama! Mama, I was looking for you.
- Angela Orosco: Now you're the only one left. Maybe then.... Maybe then I can rest.
- Angela Orosco: Mama, why are you running away?
- Angela Orosco: You're not Mama. It's you... I, I'm sorry...
- James Sunderland: Angela, no....
- Angela Orosco: Thank you for saving me... But I wish you hadn't. Even Mama said it... I deserved what happened...
- James Sunderland: No Angela, that's wrong!
- Angela Orosco: No. Don't pity me. I'm not worth it.... Or maybe you think you can save me? Will you love me? Take care of me? Heal all my pain?
- Angela Orosco: That's what I thought. James. Give me back that knife.
- James Sunderland: No... I, I won't.
- Angela Orosco: Saving it for yourself?
- James Sunderland: Me? No... I'd never kill myself... It's hot as hell in here.
- Angela Orosco: You see it too? For me, it's always like this.
Two Red Pyramids Boss
- Maria: James!
- James Sunderland: Stop! Leave her alone! Leave us both the hell alone!
- James Sunderland: I was weak. That's why I needed you.... Needed someone to punish me for my sins... But that's all over now.... I know the truth... Now it's time to end this.
Ending: Maria
- Mary Sunderland: James, I've been waiting.
- James Sunderland: Mary... I'm sorry it took so long.
- Mary Sunderland: Didn't you want to see me?
- James Sunderland: Yes, I wanted to see you. Even an illusion of you... That's why I came here.
- Mary Sunderland: That's not true, is it? You killed me...
- James Sunderland: I couldn't watch you suffer.
- Mary Sunderland: Don't make excuses, James. I know I was a burden on you. You must have hated me. That's why you got rid of me.
- James Sunderland: It's true... I may have had some of those feelings. It was a long three years...I was... tired.
- Mary Sunderland: And that's why you needed this "Maria" person?
- Mary Sunderland: James, do you really think I could ever forgive you for what you did?
- Maria: You killed Mary again?
- James Sunderland: That wasn't Mary. Mary's gone.
- James Sunderland: That was just something I... Maria? Maria.
- Maria: What, James?
- James Sunderland: I want you... I want you with me...
- Maria: Are you sure?
- James Sunderland: C'mon. Let's get out of here.
- Maria: What about Mary?
- James Sunderland: It's okay, I have you.
- James Sunderland: You'd better do something about that cough...
Ending: In Water
- James Sunderland: Mary...?
- Maria: Wrong again. Mary's dead. You killed her.
- James Sunderland: Maria. Maria... I'm done with you.
- Maria: What do you mean? But I can be yours... I'll be here for you forever. And I'll never yell at you or make you feel bad.
- Maria: That's what you wanted.
- James Sunderland: Now I understand. The problem is... you're not Mary.
- Maria: No James. I won't let you! I'll never let you have your Mary back!
- James Sunderland: Mary...
- Mary Sunderland: James...
- James Sunderland: Forgive me....
- Maria: I told you I wanted to die, James. I wanted the pain to end.
- James Sunderland: That's why I did it honey. I just couldn't watch you suffer.
- James Sunderland: No, that's not the whole truth. You also said that you didn't want to die. The truth is... part of me hated you. For taking away my life...
- Mary Sunderland: You killed me and you're suffering for it. It's enough, James.
- James Sunderland: Mary...
- Mary Sunderland: James...
- James Sunderland: Now I understand. The real reason I came to this town.
- James Sunderland: I wonder what was I afraid of? Without you, Mary, I've got nothing...
- James Sunderland: Now we can be together....
Ending: Leave
- James Sunderland: Mary!
- Maria: When will you ever stop making that mistake! Mary's dead. You killed her.
- James Sunderland: Maria...? It's you... But I don't need you anymore.
- Maria: What? You must be joking! But I can be yours... I'll be here for you forever.
- Maria: And I'll never yell at you or make you feel bad. That's what you wanted. I'm different than Mary... How can you throw me away?
- James Sunderland: I understand now. It's time to end this nightmare.
- Maria: No! I won't let you! You deserve to die too, James.
- James Sunderland: Mary...
- Mary Sunderland: James...
- James Sunderland: Forgive me...
- Mary Sunderland: I told you that I wanted to die, James. I wanted the pain to end.
- James Sunderland: That's why I did it, honey. I just couldn't watch you suffer. No! That's not true... You also said that you didn't want to die. The truth is I hated you. I wanted you out of the way. I wanted my life back...
- Mary Sunderland: James... if that were true, then why do you look so sad?
- James Sunderland: Mary...
- Mary Sunderland: James... Please... please do something for me. Go on with your life.
Ending: Rebirth
- Maria: James.
- James Sunderland: Maria. I'm finished with you.
- Maria: What!? But I'm what you wanted! Mary's dead. Don't you understand? She's not coming back! But I can be yours... I'll be here for you forever. I'll never hurt you like she did! So why don't you want me!
- James Sunderland: Because you're not Mary. Without Mary, I just can't go on.
- Maria: James. C'mon James. You must be joking.
- James Sunderland: Mary. You look so peaceful. Forgive me for waking you. But without you, I just can't go on. I can't live without you, Mary. This town, Silent Hill... The Old Gods haven't left this place.... And they still grant power to those who venerate them.... Power to defy even death...
- James Sunderland: Ah... Mary.
Dialogues (Silent Hill 3)
Where Am I?
- Heather Morris: Where am I?
Heather Meets Douglas
- Heather Morris: What a nightmare...
- Heather Morris: Dad? It's me. Yeah. Sorry I didn't call sooner. Yeah, I guess I was. Anyway I'm coming home now.Oh, I didn't get that thing you asked me to. Okay. Okay, I will. I love you too dad.
- Douglas Cartland: Heather. I need to speak with you. My name is Douglas Cartland. I' m a detective.
- Heather Morris: A detective? Really? Well nice talking to you.
- Douglas Cartland: Hold on. There's someone who wants to meet you. Just let me have an hour, no half an hour of your time.
- Heather Morris: My daddy always told me not to talk to strangers.
- Douglas Cartland: This is very important. It's about your birth.
- Heather Morris: I'm not interested.
- Heather Morris: Are you still following me? Do I have to scream?
- Douglas Cartland: Sorry. I'll wait here.
Monster Encounter
- Heather Morris: Stay back!
- Heather Morris: Get the hell away from me!
- Heather Morris: What the hell is this thing?
Meeting Claudia
- Heather Morris: Hey wait, what's going on? Where is everybody? Those weird monsters...
- Claudia: They've come to witness the beginning. The rebirth of Paradise, despoiled by mankind.
- Heather Morris: What are you talking about?
- Claudia: Don't you know? Your power is needed.
- Heather Morris: How should I know?
- Claudia: I am Claudia.
- Heather Morris: So what!
- Claudia: Remember me, and your true self as well, also that which you must become. The one who will lead us to Paradise with blood stained hands.
- Heather Morris: Claudia? Right? Did you do all this?
- Claudia: It was the hand of God.
- Heather Morris: Wait! I don't get it...
- Heather Morris: What does she want me to remember?
Nightmare Elevator
- Heather Morris: Is this a dream?
- Heather Morris: It's got to be!
- Heather Morris: Not even a kid could believe in this.
- Heather Morris: But when am I gonna wake up?
Leaving the Mall
- Heather Morris: What?
- Heather Morris: It's the shopping mall just like before.
- Heather Morris: Am I back?
- Douglas Cartland: Heather!
- Heather Morris: It's you...
- Douglas Cartland: What just happened?
- Heather Morris: You must be one of them!
- Douglas Cartland: What did I do?
- Douglas Cartland: And what do you mean by "one of them"?
- Heather Morris: You're in on this with that Claudia, aren't you?
- Douglas Cartland: Claudia... What about her?
- Douglas Cartland: She asked me to find you. That's all.
- Heather Morris: So you are one of them!
- Douglas Cartland: Claudia did all that? Look I was just hired to find you.
- Douglas Cartland: I'm not on anybodies side. I don't know anything about this. Why don't you start by telling me what happened here? And that monster, what the hell was that?
- Heather Morris: I don't know anymore than you do. All I know is that something really screwy is going on and I've got a weird feeling it's got something to do with me. Maybe I'm just an innocent bystander but I can't feel sorry for you, ‘cause you dragged me into this.
- Heather Morris: If you hadn't found me...
- Douglas Cartland: What are you talking about? What's so special about you anyway?
- Heather Morris: If I knew that I wouldn't be so confused would I? But I know there's something... something I've been running from and forgot for a long time.
- Heather Morris: ...How did I remember that?
- Douglas Cartland: What's wrong?
- Heather Morris: Nothing.
- Douglas Cartland: Where are you going?
- Heather Morris: I'm taking the subway home.
- Douglas Cartland: What should I do?
- Heather Morris: Hell if I know.
Invaded by the Otherworld
- Heather Morris: I knew it.
- Harry Mason: It's being invaded by the Otherworld. By a world of someone's nightmarish delusions come to life.
- Heather Morris: Oh no. Not again...
- Heather Morris: Did she do this too?
Meeting Vincent
- Vincent: Heather... That's what you're called now? Isn't it?
- Heather Morris: And who are you?
- Vincent: The name's Vincent. Don't forget it ok? I'm on your side.
- Heather Morris: So you say...
- Heather Morris: But how do I know you're not with her?
- Vincent: Her? You mean Claudia? Please! Don't lump me together with her. She was totally brainwashed by that crazy old hag.
- Vincent: I guess “crazy old hag?Eis a bit harsh. She is your mother after all...
- Heather Morris: My mother? What do you mean?
- Vincent: You don't remember? So Harry didn't tell you anything. I guess he hid the truth to keep you on his side, eh? That figures. He's a pretty sneaky guy.
- Heather Morris: Don't talk about my dad like that!
- Vincent: Sorry, I apologize. Please, calm down.
- Heather Morris: How do you know my father anyway?
- Vincent: I know everything. I know about your past too.
- Heather Morris: Then tell me what's going on.
- Vincent: You don't know even that?
- Heather Morris: That's why I'm asking.
- Heather Morris: If you know something then tell me how I can put an end to this.
- Vincent: Not yet.
- Vincent: Why not enjoy yourself a bit longer?
- Heather Morris: Enjoy? I feel like I'm going crazy. Doesn't this place get to you at all?
- Vincent: Oh it gets to me alright. I find it most fascinating.
- Vincent: Wait! I'm not finished talking!
- Heather Morris: I knew you were on her side.
- Vincent: How do you figure!?
- Heather Morris: There's something wrong with you too.
TU FUI EGO ERIS
- Heather Morris: Tu fui, ego eris. Weird writing.
- Heather Morris: What was that?
The Missionary
- Heather Morris: Dad, I'm home.
- Heather Morris: Listen... Something really crazy is going on.
- Heather Morris: I think we should... Dad?
- Heather Morris: Did you do this?
- Claudia: You're late.
- Heather Morris: But why!? Why!?
- Claudia: Revenge for 17 years ago for one thing. If not for him our dream would have come true! And then, he took you away from us.
- Heather Morris: I'll get you for this!
- Claudia: There is another reason: to fill your heart with hatred. It must be this way. One day you will understand.
- Heather Morris: No! I'll never understand!
- Claudia: You must try to remember me, and your true self as well.
- Claudia: You will birth a God and build an eternal Paradise.
- Claudia: He's the one who killed your father. I merely gave the order. So, what will you do?
- Claudia: I'll be waiting, where all begins. In the town of Silent Hill.
After the Missionary
- Douglas Cartland: I don't know what to say...
- Heather Morris: Then don't say anything. I'm fine, so just get out of here, and leave me alone already.
- Douglas Cartland: Calm down, I just...
- Heather Morris: Calm down? How am I supposed to do that? My father is dead! He's murdered! Get out! This is all your fault! If it weren't for you....
- Douglas Cartland: I'm sorry.
- Heather Morris: Then go!
- Douglas Cartland: If it'll make you feel better, I will.
- Douglas Cartland: Is he okay like this?
- Heather Morris: What else can we do? There's no one here to give him a decent burial.
- Heather Morris: I'm sorry Dad.
- Douglas Cartland: What will you do now?
- Heather Morris: I'm going to Silent Hill.
- Douglas Cartland: What's in Silent Hill?
- Heather Morris: I don't know.
- Douglas Cartland: Do you think it's safe?
- Heather Morris: Of course it isn't! I don't know what kind of hell is waiting for me there, but I've got no other choice. I don't care about God or Paradise... If that's what she believes in then fine. But she won't get away with what she did.
- Heather Morris: When I find her, I'll kill her myself.
- Douglas Cartland: Revenge doesn't solve anything.
- Heather Morris: Maybe not, but that's what I'm going to do.
- Douglas Cartland: I'll give you a ride.
- Heather Morris: I don't need your help.
- Douglas Cartland: Yeah but it's too far to walk. Besides I'm party responsible for this. I'll bring the car around back. Come by when you've finished saying goodbye.
- Heather Morris: You know, you might die too.
- Douglas Cartland: That's fine. No one's going to cry over my grave anyway.
To Silent Hill
- Douglas Cartland: I just met a guy named Vincent...
- Heather Morris: Vincent?
- Douglas Cartland: He's a friend of yours right?
- Heather Morris: I'm not sure.
- Douglas Cartland: He said when we get to Silent Hill to look for a guy named Leonard.
- Douglas Cartland: And he gave me this map. What do you want to do?
- Heather Morris: We can't trust him, but we've got no other choice.
- Douglas Cartland: Take this too.
- Heather Morris: What's this?
- Douglas Cartland: Your father was holding it.
- Douglas Cartland: It started raining.
- Douglas Cartland: Are you sleeping?
- Heather Morris: I'm awake.
- Douglas Cartland: You cold?
- Heather Morris: ...
- Douglas Cartland: What's the deal with Silent Hill anyway?
- Douglas Cartland: It used to be a nice, quiet little town, but now...
- Heather Morris: You've been there?
- Douglas Cartland: Once. On a missing persons case. I never did find him. I'll tell you, that's one screwed up town. In my line of work, you hear a lot of nasty rumors.
- Heather Morris: I was born and raised there.
- Douglas Cartland: Sorry. I didn't mean to offend you.
- Heather Morris: No offence taken.
- Douglas Cartland: Anyway, I thought you grew up in Portland.
- Douglas Cartland: What's wrong? You feeling sick?
- Heather Morris: My head is pounding. Like the worst hangover ever.
- Douglas Cartland: Maybe you're carsick.
- Heather Morris: No. I'm just trying to remember. My childhood. Something terrible happened in Silent Hill 17 years ago. A woman named Dahlia, she tried to summon the ancient god of the town. She offered up her very own daughter.
- Douglas Cartland: That's crazy.
- Heather Morris: Maybe so, but it worked. The girl gave birth to a god.
- Douglas Cartland: Huh?
- Heather Morris: You see, that girl had special powers.
- Douglas Cartland: Powers?
- Heather Morris: Her classmates called her a witch. She could make things happen with her mind. She could kill people just by wishing for it. But in the end that god was killed by a single person. My father, Harry Mason. I guess it wasn't much of a god if it could be killed by a human being. But I think Claudia is trying to do the same thing again, and I've been chosen as the sacrifice.
- Douglas Cartland: You've got some kind of power in you too?
- Heather Morris: After the god died, the girl reappeared. She was holding a baby in her arms. Before she died, she gave the baby to my father.
- Heather Morris: He loved me just like I was his very own daughter. Even though he didn't know who or what I was. It was so sudden... I never had a chance... to tell you... to tell you... how happy you made me.
Heather and Douglas in Room 106
- Douglas Cartland: I'm gonna head for that Leonard guy's house. You check out the hospital. You got that map, right?
- Heather Morris: Yeah.
- Douglas Cartland: You gonna be okay alone?
- Heather Morris: I'm not a child, you know. Are you sure it's not you who's afraid to be alone?
- Douglas Cartland: You're right. I am afraid. I'm 50 something years old and I never seen nothing like this. I still feel like I'm dreaming.
- Heather Morris: More like a nightmare I'd say.
- Douglas Cartland: Yeah. I want to wake up and have a smoke already. Meet me back here when you're finished looking around the hospital, ok?
- Heather Morris: Rodger.
Leonard's Phonecall
- Heather Morris: Hello...?
- Leonard: Claudia?
- Heather Morris: No, I'm...
- Leonard: Don't lie to me, Claudia. You're always trying to run from your responsibilities. Have you come to apologize? Or maybe you still don't realize how foolish you've been?
- Heather Morris: Listen to me already!
- Heather Morris: I'm not Claudia!
- Leonard: You're not Claudia?
- Heather Morris: My name is Heather.
- Leonard: Heather...?
- Heather Morris: Who are you?
- Leonard: Leonard Wolf. I'm sorry. I thought you were my daughter.
- Heather Morris: Claudia is your daughter?
- Leonard: Oh so you know her do you? Are you one of her followers?
- Heather Morris: No. Never. When I find her, I...
- Leonard: I can feel the hatred.
- Heather Morris: What?
- Leonard: Behind your words... the anger. You plan to kill her don't you?
- Heather Morris: I'm sorry. But she... she killed my father.
- Leonard: She's a fool, but she's still my daughter. I was going to forgive her if she changed her ways, but I see it's too late. Heather, will you help me?
- Heather Morris: Help you?
- Leonard: I'm locked up in here, and I must stop Claudia.
- Heather Morris: Where are you now?
- Leonard: I'm not sure myself, but the door is at the end of the hall on the second floor. I think I can be of help to you. I have a seal. Please.
- Heather Morris: A seal?
- Heather Morris: The end of the hall on the second floor?
Happy Birthday!
- ???: Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you.
- ???: Happy birthday dear... Oh, I forgot your name.
- Heather Morris: Who are you!?
- ???: Oh, okay thanks.
- ???: Happy birthday dear "Hooaryou".
- ???: Happy birthday to you! Happy 31st birthday!
- Heather Morris: Is this Leonard?
- ???: That's the murderers name, not my name. I'm not your beloved Stanley either. He's underground now. His new name is # 7. But don't worry about that now. It's time to celebrate your birthday!
- Heather Morris: You've got me mistaken for some someone else. Today's not my...
- ???: I'm not mistaken. Today is your 24th birthday.
- ???: And I have a present for you. Which do you prefer? To give pain or to receive it? You can have the one you hate the most.
- ???: Happy birthday to you!
- Heather Morris: But you're wrong. It's not my birthday.
Meeting Leonard
- Leonard: Heather?
- Heather Morris: Yeah? Leonard? Where are you?
- Leonard: Thank you. Now I can finally leave here. Now Claudia's ridiculous dream is over. Well, I guess it's time to dispose of her. The “salvation of all mankind?E Ha! Why must be reward even the unbelievers?
- Heather Morris: What are you talking about?
- Leonard: About our plans of course. It's true that God is merciful, but first one must be chosen. Only those who hearken to the voice of God will be given the keys to Paradise. Don't you think so, Heather?
- Heather Morris: Yeah, sure. Go ahead and think whatever you want.
- Leonard: What do you mean by that?
- Heather Morris: I mean that I don't think the way you guys do. I don't want any part of that kinda paradise.
- Leonard: You're an unbeliever? You deceived me!?
- Heather Morris: I didn't deceive you. We were both just wrong about each other. I thought you were a normal person.
- Leonard: Heretic! You plan to destroy God!
- Heather Morris: I told you. I wasn't trying to trick anyone. What is this seal thing, anyway?
- Leonard: Don't play innocent with me. You can't fool me anymore. The seal is mine. God has appointed me to be its guardian. The only thing you'll get from me is a gruesome death!
- Heather Morris: Leonard, is that you?
- Leonard: Death to all who turn their backs on God!
- Heather Morris: Is every person here a mental case? Well I guess you're not a person anyway.
- Heather Morris: Leonard's not here anymore. I guess I should head back to the Hotel now... I hope Douglas is okay.
- Heather Morris: What's this?
Claudia and Vincent in Room 106
- Claudia: Why did you send her to my father?
- Vincent: Was that wrong?
- Claudia: It's your fault that he...
- Vincent: But surely it's a good thing. It means that he was one of God's beloved, no?
- Claudia: Those who mock God will never receive salvation. You'll go to hell, Vincent... you'll never feel the joy of God's everlasting paradise.
- Vincent: You think that God is going to save you? Ha!
- Claudia: What do you know anyway!?
- Vincent: I know about the pleasures of this world, and I want to find my happiness while I'm still here. You hated your father, didn't you? I saw the way he hit you, kicked you and made you cry. The memory of his cruelty is forever burned into my mind.
- Claudia: Yes, yes. And that's why we need God!
- Vincent: What you call "faith" is nothing more than a child crying out for love.
- Claudia: You don't understand. None of you do.
Heather and Vincent in Room 106
- Heather Morris: Where's Douglas?
- Vincent: He went out, but he left a message for you.
- Heather Morris: Was there someone else here just now?
- Vincent: No, no, just me. Don't you want to know what the message is?
- Heather Morris: Yeah, what did he say?
- Vincent: "The church is on the other side of the lake".
- Heather Morris: Church...? I wonder what he meant by that.
- Vincent: You don't understand? That's where Claudia is. Across the lake, on the north side. If you're going you'd better go through the Amusement Park. It's probably the only way in now. Go northwest on Nathan Avenue. It's a bit far but closer than heaven.
- Heather Morris: Is that is for the message?
- Vincent: Uh huh.
- Heather Morris: Thanks.
- Heather Morris: ...
- Heather Morris: Douglas really said that?
- Vincent: What's wrong, you don't trust me?
Douglas and Claudia in the Amusement Park
- Claudia: I hired you to find the girl and you performed serviceably. What is it now?
- Douglas Cartland: You lied to me about Heather, lady. I don't like being used.
- Claudia: Lie? What lie?
- Douglas Cartland: That Heather was kidnapped from you.
- Claudia: But it's true. She was originally one of us. That man, Harry Mason stole her away and kept her hidden from us.
- Douglas Cartland: Yeah, but she says she was happy.
- Claudia: She was brainwashed by him, deceived. Because her true self had not yet awoken. She carries God within her. But when Alessa, mother of God truly awakens...
- Douglas Cartland: Yeah, what's gonna happen?
- Claudia: She will usher in the eternal Paradise.
- Douglas Cartland: What kind of place is that?
- Claudia: A place with no pain. No hunger, no sickness, no old age. There will be no greed or war and all will live by God's grace alone.
- Douglas Cartland: No this, no that, no nothing. A paradise for castrated sheep, maybe. Sounds pretty boring.
- Claudia: I pity you. You still don't understand.
- Claudia: You're going to kill me? Is it really so easy for you?
- Douglas Cartland: I've done it before.
- Claudia: Then I truly do pity you.
Borely Haunted Mansion
- Narrator: Welcome to the Borely Haunted Mansion! We're so glad you came. Please come inside and look around. When you feel you are ready, then go through the door.
- Man: Help... Help...
- Narrator: Do you hear those voices? A family of four was sliced into bloody pieces in this room.
- Narrator: Ah, the cries of the children... The murderer was caught.
- Narrator: Do you know why he said he killed his family?
- Narrator: “Because I felt I had to!?E/li>
- Narrator: Anyway, I'm lying. It's all just a joke. I wanted to scare you, that's all.
- Narrator: The truth is that only one person died, by suicide.
- Narrator: That's Danny. A quiet young man, but quite friendly, as you can see.
- Narrator: He was so eager to meet you.
- Narrator: His hometown is New Orleans, but he came here after first losing his way.
- Narrator: Oh, maybe you might know? Where is the path to heaven?
- Narrator: This mansion is quite old, so please watch your step.
- Narrator: Sometimes the floor suddenly gives way.
- Narrator: And beneath the floor, there's nothing.
- Narrator: I'm so sorry, this place is just falling apart.
- Narrator: The mechanism is broken, you see, it wasn't supposed to stop there, I assure you.
- Narrator: There's the exit. I hope you enjoyed your tour. Please come back anytime.
- Narrator: Or if you'd prefer, we could come and visit you instead.
- Narrator: That was supposed to be the exit.
- Narrator: But it seems that no one wants you to leave. Everyone really likes you. They want you to stay with them forever. I have to agree with them.
- Narrator: Don't be afraid. Dying is much easier than living.
Heather and Douglas in the Amusement Park
- Heather Morris: Douglas!
- Douglas Cartland: You're late.
- Heather Morris: Are you hurt?
- Douglas Cartland: I can't move my right leg. I think it's broken.
- Heather Morris: I'll call an ambulance!
- Douglas Cartland: Wait, I don't think one will come... Don't worry, I'm used to it.
- Heather Morris: You... you old fool! Getting yourself hurt like that...
- Douglas Cartland: Sorry.
- Heather Morris: What'll I do if you die?
- Douglas Cartland: What'll we do if this god thing gets born?
- Heather Morris: C'mon. How powerful can a god from a dump like this be? I'm sure it'll be no big deal.
- Douglas Cartland: But anyway something's gonna happen.
- Heather Morris: Who knows? Maybe we'd all be better off if it did.
- Douglas Cartland: But if this is how a god of mercy acts, I don't want to see any more of him. That's reason enough for risking my life, don't you think? Plus, I'm just an old fool, right?
- Heather Morris: You think you're superman or something?
- Douglas Cartland: You know I always wanted to be him. Besides...
- Heather Morris: Yeah?
- Douglas Cartland: I want to help you out.
- Heather Morris: You don't have to feel responsible. I know it's not your fault.
- Douglas Cartland: You... you remind me of my son.
- Heather Morris: You said nobody was going to cry for you...
- Douglas Cartland: Dead people don't cry. Stupid kid got himself shot robbing a bank.
- Heather Morris: But why?
- Douglas Cartland: Maybe cause his pop was a penniless good-for-nothing. Who knows? Anyway, now I guess I'll never find out. Sorry, I shouldn't be say you remind me of a guy like him.
- Heather Morris: Well, maybe if you'd compared me to your daughter... Listen, I'll take care of the rest. You stay here and I'll be back when it's over.
- Douglas Cartland: You'll be ok by yourself?
- Heather Morris: Hey, no problem.
- Heather Morris: Besides, my dads not around anymore so only I can do this.
- Heather Morris: What are you doing?
- Douglas Cartland: Maybe killing you here is the only way to end this nightmare...
- Heather Morris: Yeah, you might be right.
Checking on Douglas
- Douglas Cartland: What is it?
- Heather Morris: I just came by to make sure you were still alive.
- Douglas Cartland: Sorry. I'd come with you if I wasn't hurt.
- Heather Morris: Yeah, well I guess that's the problem with the old guy, huh? I'll handle things. You just rest.
- Heather Morris: Don't die on me, okay?
Heather and Claudia in the Church
- Claudia: How did you get here? It was Vincent, wasn't it? He led you here. When will he cease his meddling? But it's just as well. Luring you here also serves my purposes.
- Heather Morris: Checkmate.
- Claudia: Not yet. The time is not yet at hand. The time when all will be forgiven their sins. When the paradise we have long dreamed for will arrive. After the Judgment and Atonement, an eternity of bliss. Oh, Alessa, the world you wanted is nearly here...
- Heather Morris: That's now what I want.
- Claudia: Not you. Alessa. Your true self.
- Heather Morris: But I am Alessa. My little Claudia. My dear, sweet sister.
- Claudia: Alessa? Is it you? Oh, how I've missed you!
- Heather Morris: I don't need another world. It's fine the way it is.
- Claudia: But you said it yourself. The world must first be cleansed with fire.
- Heather Morris: But that's not what I want now.
- Claudia: Alessa, don't you want happiness? Have you become blind to all the hopeless suffering in the world? We need... we all need God's salvation.
- Heather Morris: Listen. Suffering is a fact of life. Either you learn to deal with that or you go under. You can stay in your little dream world, but you can't keep hurting other people. Besides, I'll never forgive you for hurting my father.
- Claudia: I wish only for the salvation of mankind. But for that to happen, the world must first be remade. And for that we need God.
- Heather Morris: You self-righteous witch! No one asked you to help!
- Claudia: You despise me, don't you?
- Heather Morris: You're damned right I do!
- Claudia: That's good.
Confessional
- Woman: Dear God, please forgive me. I know I'll be put to death for the sins I've committed.
- Woman: And I'll go to my death gladly. And with a peaceful heart. But please grant me just a small piece of your everlasting mercy. Let me see my child once within your Golden Gates.
- Woman: Send me not to Hell, but to Purgatory. Allow me to atone for my sins there.
- Woman: I'll stand within the very Flames of Redemption no matter how they burn me.
- Woman: Forgive my wicked act of revenge, and deliver the soul of my poor murdered daughter.
- Woman: Please also care for the soul of the girl whose life I have taken.
- Woman: God, I'm a child, trembling with fear as I stare at death. Soothe my tortured soul with your infinite mercy. Please forgive me.
- (if Heather forgives)
- Heather Morris: I forgive you.
- Woman: Thank you, Lord...
Heather and Vincent in the Library
- Vincent: Hi, Heather.
- Heather Morris: You show up everywhere don't you?
- Vincent: You make me sound like some kind of unwanted pest.
- Heather Morris: Well, who are you anyway?
- Vincent: Haven't you realized that yet?
- Heather Morris: Yeah, you're on Claudia's side.
- Vincent: I told you not to put me in the same category as that madwoman.
- Heather Morris: Well you're pretty loony yourself.
- Vincent: It's true that we believe in the same god, but I'm quite sane.
- Heather Morris: So why did you help me out then? Was that also part of trying to resurrect god?
- Vincent: It's not uncommon for people to worship the same god and still disagree.
- Heather Morris: “God?E Are you sure you don't mean “Devil?E
- Vincent: Whichever you like.
- Vincent: The point is that now I really am on your side. I don't want God to be born. It wouldn't be convenient. Too much unpredictable.
- Heather Morris: So you've been using me to stop Claudia, is that it? Do your own dirty work.
- Vincent: My dirty work? I think we both have our own interests at mind. You hate her too, don't you? You're the only one who can get it done. I don't have powers like you two. Besides, I always hated getting all hot and sweaty.
- Heather Morris: Oh, really?
- Vincent: I'm just looking out for myself. Everyone does it. Don't stand there looking so smug. You're the worst person in this room. You come here and enjoy spilling their blood and listening to them cry out. You feel excited when you step on them, snuffing out their lives.
- Heather Morris: Are you talking about the monsters?
- Vincent: Monsters...? They look like monsters to you?
- Vincent: Don't worry, it's just a joke.
- Vincent: By the way, I forgot to ask you. Did you get the seal of Metatron?
- Heather Morris: What's that?
- Vincent: You don't have it!? Leonard was carrying it!
- Heather Morris: You mean this thing?
- Vincent: Yes, that's it. As long as we have that, we're fine. Here, take this.
Vincent's Recorded Conversation
- Vincent: Do you know about what happened here 17 years ago? You've been here a long time, you must have heard some details.
- Woman: A group of pagans, blinded by earthly desires, spit in the very face of God. They tried to use the seal of Metatron to prevent God's awakening. But God drove the unbelievers away and threw them into the abyss.
- Woman: But due to their wickedness, God was unable to be born properly, and so she has slumbered ever since, in the womb of the Holy Mother. Until the time of the Awakening...
- Woman: That's all that I know.
- Vincent: That's it, huh... Well, thanks.
- Woman: Father Vincent, I heard that the Holy Mother has been found. Is this true?
- Vincent: Alessa has been found? Did Claudia say that?
- Woman: Yes.
- Vincent: Then it must be true. Her Sight rarely fails her.
- Woman: Bless the Lord!
- Vincent: Maybe it's because of her great faith. But I could never be like her. I wouldn't want to.
- Woman: Nor I. The truth is, Sister Claudia frightens me a little.
- Vincent: Well now, let's both show our faith by forgetting bout this little talk, okay?
- Woman: Yes. But does that mean that this land will finally be the Home of Eternal Paradise?
- Vincent: If God wills it Sister, if God wills it.
Final Confrontation
- Vincent: What do I want? Well for the two of you to die. That would be nice, then I could relax.
- Claudia: When did you stop believing in God? God lives. Just look around you.
- Vincent: But I do believe in Her. In my own way. I fear Her. And I adore Her. But I haven't lost my mind like you. You think that this is the work of God? Isn't this nothing more than your own personal nightmare? Just like Alessa 17 years ago. If this really is the work of God, I'd say she had lousy taste.
- Claudia: You mock God!? Traitor. You will go to hell.
- Vincent: Not that again! Who do you think you are? Claiming to know God's will!?
- Claudia: Go home, Vincent.
- Vincent: Home? This church is my home. I built it with my power. The power of money that you view with such scorn. Although, I do admit this atrocious scenery is all yours.
- Claudia: If you continue to get in my way...
- Vincent: Then you'll kill me? Well, the guest of honor has arrived. Let's get this party started.
- Vincent: Heather, go ahead and kill this crazy bitch. This demon who claims to speak for God. The time has come. You can kill her now.
- Claudia: You'll go to hell!
- Heather Morris: What did you do?
- Claudia: Oh, nothing important.
- Heather Morris: You're not going to run? I guess this is the end.
- Claudia: No, the beginning. As Vincent said: The time has come. Alessa, I'm saddened that you didn't agree to this on your own. But I thank you for nurturing God with all the hate in your heart. It's time for Mankind to be released from the shackles of sin that bind them.
- Heather Morris: But a God born from hate can never create a perfect paradise!
- Claudia: Happy people can be so cruel. Is it so hard to believe that sympathy could be born from pain and suffering? Why do you reject God's mercy? Why do you cling to this corrupt world? You knowthat only God can save us.
- Heather Morris: And save you too? Happy ending? I'd rather go to hell.
- Claudia: No, I don't expect to be saved.
- Claudia: That's fine. Alessa, my dearest... For the pain I've caused you, I deserve no mercy. Even if it was to save mankind, it was too deep a sin. It was hubris for me to try to hasten the day of Her arrival. Sacrifices were made, and those are my sins.
- Vincent: If you feel so guilty about it, why don't you go to hell! Heather, use the seal.
- Claudia: Vincent?
- Claudia: The Seal of Metatron!
- Vincent: Now your stupid dream is over!
- Claudia: Oh, that's just a piece of junk. What do you think you can do with that? Do you really think it can kill God? I'm sorry to see you fell for my father's foolishness.
- Vincent: What!?
- Claudia: You're pathetic... but God loves even you.
- Claudia: Now Alessa, there's nowhere else to run. Just accept it, Alessa. The pain will dissapear.
- Claudia: Oh, I've been waiting so long for this. Even as a child I saw the coming of this day. I knew that I would be a witness to it, Judgment Day!
- Claudia: Alessa!
- Heather Morris: Shut your stinking mouth, bitch!
Ending: Bad
- Heather Morris: Aahhh!
- Claudia: Alessa... Oh God...
- Claudia: Bring us salvation!
Claudia Takes Responsibility
- Heather Morris: Dad...
- Claudia: What are you doing?
- Claudia: She's nearly here.
- Claudia: What is it? Alessa, what have you done, what did you swallow!?
- Heather Morris: Looks like God didn't make it.
- Claudia: Stop! God is...!
- Heather Morris: Claudia...
- Claudia: Alessa, you cannot kill God.
- Claudia: I will... I will birth God... If you can't do it Alessa, I will...
The God
- Heather Morris: You can't be dead, I was going to kill you!
- Heather Morris: This is God...?
After the Battle
- Heather Morris: Is this the end?
- Heather Morris: I guess it's time to roll the credits.
- Heather Morris: Dad...
Ending: Normal
- Douglas Cartland: Heather! Is it really over?
- Heather Morris: Not yet. You're still alive.
- Heather Morris: Just a joke!
- Douglas Cartland: You've got terrible taste.
- Heather Morris: I'm sorry.
- Douglas Cartland: Heather. Did you...
- Heather Morris: You don't have to call me that. I'm not hiding anymore.
- Douglas Cartland: You want me to use your real name? What was it again...
- Heather Morris: Cheryl. The name my father gave me.
- Douglas Cartland: You gonna let your hair colour go back too?
- Heather Morris: I don't know. Don't you think blondes have more fun?
Ending: UFO
- Heather Morris: I'm home, Dad. Listen.... Something crazy is going on.
- Harry Mason: Cheryl, you're back. What happened?
- Heather Morris: Well, it's like this...
- Heather Morris: And that's about it.
- Harry Mason: Oh, my poor little Cheryl. I can't believe that!
- Harry Mason: I'm going to Silent Hill and I'm gonna bust some heads!
- Heather Morris: Oh, Dad! You're the coolest!

Jasper Burns

- Man: His name’s Walter…Walter Sullivan. I used to work at the orphanage, watching the kids… I’m Andrew DeSalvo.

centre of their religion… That kid, Walter… He was really into that mumbo jumbo… Especially that “Descent of the Holy Mother” business… Scary… My God… Oh…oh, my God…
Apartment, After Water Prison
- Eileen Galvin: How’s it going with Room 302?

- Eileen Galvin: You mean…the guy who lived here before…?
- Superintendent: And it wasn’t just him, either. There’s, uh, somethin’ wrong with this whole apartment…
- Eileen Galvin: Don’t say that… You’re scaring me…
- Superintendent: Well, anyway, I just slipped a note under his door. Don’t worry about it too much. There are a…lot of strange things in this world… The umbilical cord I keep in a box in my room… Lately, it’s started to smell terrible…
- Eileen Galvin: Huh? Umbilical cord…?
- Superintendent: Oh, forget I said anything…
- Eileen Galvin: But still, those noises…

- Man: Ouch! Dammit… Where the hell am I…? (points gun at Henry) Ah, you’re a real person… Hey, you’re the guy that lives across from me…
- Henry Townshend: Yeah, my name’s Henry.
- Man: I’m Richard Braintree, from 207. What the hell’s happened to us? That hole…and this freaky world… But if you’re here too…then there must be something wrong with the whole apartment building… That must explain what happened to that other guy too…
- Henry Townshend: What “other guy”?

- Henry Townshend: Wait… Watch out for that kid.
- Richard Braintree: Are you the kid he was talkin’ about? You live in that apartment too, huh? Say…you look a lot like a little punk that I once caught sneakin’ around there… Do you know somethin’ about what’s goin’ on?!
- Richard Braintree: Hey! Hey, you! Stop!
- Richard Braintree: A…a…a…a…a…k…k…k…”kid”…!?

- Eileen Galvin: Y-You… You’re Henry from next door …What are you doing here?
- Henry Townshend: I don’t…I don’t know where to start…There was this strange hole in my room… I saw people getting killed…all these weird other worlds… And I saw you get attacked too…
- Eileen Galvin: What are you talking about? I’m supposed to believe that?
- Henry Townshend: But it’s true… And there was a kid with you…
- Eileen Galvin: I remember now. I was getting ready to go to my friend’s party… The boy protected me from the man with the coat… I’m sorry I didn’t believe you…I guess there’s something wrong with me… I just feel so scared…This place…what is it anyway?
- Henry Townshend: I don’t know either… But I do know that if you get killed here…Then you die in the real world too… Anyway, the only out of here is through that hole.
- Eileen Galvin: Okay, okay. Take me with you.
- Eileen Galvin: Henry!
- Henry Townshend: Have you been here the whole time?
- Eileen Galvin: Yeah, and I didn’t see any hole either. You just disappeared all of a sudden. I can’t stay here by myself. I’ll be cursed… I know it… What am I gonna do?
- Henry Townshend: I might know a way to save you… Do you know about someone named Joseph?
- Eileen Galvin: Yeah, he was the guy who lived in your apartment before you. I think he was a journalist or something. He disappeared about 6 months before you moved in… But towards the end… He started acting really weird…..
- Henry Townshend: Yeah, he was doing an investigation… About a religious cult and a man named Walter Sullivan. I got this letter from him… He told me to go down… down into the deepest part of him… And to look for the ultimate Truth. Let’s do that. There must be something down there.
- Eileen Galvin: Okay, I’ll do it. You’re the only chance I’ve got… I’ll stick with you.
Jasper's Ghost, Victim #17/21
- Henry Townshend: Are you…Walter Sullivan?
- Walter Sullivan: That’s what everybody calls me, but I don’t really have a name. Or a home either…
- Henry Townshend: Well, what about a mom or dad?
- Walter Sullivan: Yeah…but I never met ‘em… They left South Ashfield Heights right after I was born. But soon I’ll get to see my mom.
- Henry Townshend: Do you know where she is now?
- Walter Sullivan: Yeah, of course ? right where I was born. Lots of people tried to stop me, but it’s fine now. It says in the Scriptures that I’ll be with her. I gotta hurry. Mom’s waiting…
Richard's Ghost, Victim #19/21
- Walter Sullivan: I’m going to see my mom! Stay outta my way! Who are you, anyway?
- Man: My name’s Walter. Walter Sullivan. It’s time to complete the “21 Sacraments.”
- Young Walter: But that’s my name… And what are the “21 Sacraments”?
- Walter Sullivan: Don’t worry. You’ll know soon enough. Well, let’s go and see Mother…
- Henry Townshend: Damn!
Joseph (Eileen Normal)
- Eileen Galvan: It’s him…
- Head: You’ve done well to make it this far. Let me tell you something about “him,” Walter Sullivan… When he was a little boy, he began to believe that my apartment was actually his birth mother. He decided to “free” her from the stains and corruption of this world. At the orphanage, he learned of the “21 Sacraments,” the only way to purify her. He then performed the ceremony of the “Holy Assumption” and created this…twisted world. Now…he’s become nothing more than an inhuman killing machine… Well, he’s dead now…but he’s trying to complete…the “21 Sacraments.” His boyhood desire…to return to the bosom of his birth…has divided him… Now his child self…has manifested itself in this world… And soon, he is planning to finish his work… The…21…Sacraments… Number 20… “The Mother Reborn”… Eileen Galvin… Number 21… “The Receiver of Wisdom”… Henry Townshend… Even now…it may not be…too late…Follow the…Crimson Tome… Stop him…If not…wherever you run… He will catch you… Find…him… His…true location… It must be nearby… You must kill…him… You must kill him… Kill…… Kill… Kill…… Kill…… Hurry… She’s being taken over… She’s Number 20… “The Mother Reborn”… The Crimson Tome… Obey the Crimson Tome… Kill him… Must…kill…him… Kill…… Kill…… Kill…… Kill…
Apt. Lobby (Eileen Normal)

- Eileen Galvan: It’s terrible… That poor little boy… His parents just threw him away right after he was born… Poor thing… He really thinks that Room 302 is his mother… I’ve gotta…I’ve gotta help him…
- Henry Townshend: Ow, my head……!
- Eileen Galvan: Henry? Are you okay? It’s Walter… He’s crying… Even finishing the 21 Sacraments… It won’t help that boy… I’m going back, Henry… To the room where he is… We’re the only ones… The only ones that can stop him.
Before Final Boss
